Vision Therapy for Readers
One in four students struggle with functional vision problems that interfere with their ability to read, learn, comprehend, and even pay attention. Discover the link between visual development and reading and how you can better advocate for young readers in your life with Dr. Neil Renaud, OD, FAAO, FCOVD from Eagle Eye Performance Vision.
Reading is not always an easy skill to learn, and we get a lot of requests for help motivating readers. We know reading problems can manifest in children for a variety of reasons: lack of interest, lack of early intervention, a missing puzzle piece in their overall health, and the list goes on and on. We believe the (sometimes reluctant) readers in your life are full of potential, and whether you’re a caregiver who’s out of ideas to motivate your child or an educator looking to explore some fresh new ways to advocate for your students, we have a series of evening speakers and programs created especially for you.
A note for teachers: You may earn up to one State Continuing Education Clock Hour (SCECH) by attending this event. Bring your Personal Identification Code (PIC) number if you would like to sign in and earn a SCECH.
